Numbers 13
“And The Lord said to Moses, 2Send men to explore and scout (for yourselves) the land of Canaan, which I give to the Israelites. From each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, everyone one a leader or head among them. 3So Moses by the command of the Lord sent scouts from the Wilderness of Paran, all of them men who were heads of the Israelites.”
In Numbers 13, Moses has been given a command by God to send out scouts to explore the land that He is planning to give to them. Well, the men go out and bring back a report to Moses on what they saw. The land was good; however, there some inhabitants that were not the most friendliest people, which concerned the scouts. In verse 30, Caleb speaks up and does his best to assure everyone that they as a group are more than capable of possessing the land promised to them, but the others are not so sure.
God had already promised the land to them; so, it was already theirs to take, but they could not see past the present circumstances at that time. Just because you are in a dry place in your life right now does not mean that God does not have something great for your life especially if He has already made a promise to you. God does not go back on His word.
You can tell your greatest through the level of your challenge- greater the attack greater the significance. Think of it this way- Your misery is your message; your suffering is your sermon. God may not have called your to preach, but He has called you to witness.
Remember you only see obstacles when you take your focus off your vision.
