Would He Be Pleased?

We say we want to be pleasing in God’s sight. Well, do not let the people you are trying to get saved question your own salvation by what they see or hear you do before and after the church doors are opened.  Salvation is not something you parade just on Sunday and Wednesday Bible Study.

In my quest to become a wiser woman, I have been taking inventory of self.  I am determined to master the gifts of being quiet and the ability to reason. These are two characteristics of gracefulness.  It is insane to repeatedly continue unbecoming,  inappropriate behavior, give lame excuses, and expect people to treat you differently.

Aristole said it best, “We are what we repeatedly do.”  Are you about excellence or mediocrity?
